Why don't you join us?
We are trying to encourage car sharing to get to events. If you'd like to see if there are other Severnside members living near you look at the link below.
If you would like more information please contact either Janet Hiscott or Jan Ashton-Jones
The Branch covers South Wales, including Pembrokeshire, Glamorgan, Powys and parts of Gloucestershire, Hereford & Worcester and Avon.
We run field trips throughout the spring and autumn both within our Branch and overseas. In recent years we have been to Tenerife 8 times, to Skye, Newfoundland, Southern Spain, Brittany, the United Arab Emirates, the Alps, Norway and the Azores. During the winter we organise a day of lectures. All members of the society are welcome to join our trips.
Our longer trips are renowned for keeping the costs down without the loss of comfort.
We also have a large library and issue a regular Newsletter which includes accounts of the field trips and keeps members up to date with the Events diary.
Please explore our site in detail. If you wish to contact us the branch organiser is available via email on severnside@ougs.org
