2010 AGM
AGM Geoweekend at Hartland
Michelle Thomas organised an informative and hugely enjoyable AGM weekend at Hartland on Jan 30th/31st.
On Saturday morning Chris Turbitt gave a presentation on the Hartland Geomagnetic Observatory and then led visits to the observatory.
The afternoon commenced with the formal business of the AGM, followed by talks by Dr Chris Cornford, Integrated Geochemical Interpretation Ltd, ('The Missing Geology of North Devon") and Peter Keene, Editor of Thematic Trails ('Geomorphology of the Hartland Peninsula'). Copies of both presentations can be viewed or downloaded by logging in to the Membership Services section and opening the 'Presenters and Trip Leaders Documents' page.
On Sunday Chris Cornford and Peter Keene led fieldtrips in the Hartland Quay area.
Reports on the talks and trips will be appearing on the site in due course.
